A lot of people are worry about buying a HDMI cable,
or worry about not having a HDMI compatible TV for your PS3.
Don't worry frankly it's not that important anyway.
Most componemt input will support up to 1080i without a fuzz.
And it sounds like PS3 will come with a componemt cable, give it a try it's free.

In fact most of the present HDTV owner like myself don't really have a 1080p60 TV.
The best we would have is 1080P30, not the very resent buyer who dump big money on their HDTV.
And componemt is just fine or should I say as good as HDMI for under 1080p30.

On top of that Frankly most mid range TV makers are better with componemt,
for example if you are using sam sumg TV I would advice you try to use componemt.
Sam Sumg has very bad reputation of their HDMI input being over processed.

If you are not owning a high mid range TV released after Sep 2006.
The free componemt cable come with PS3 is more then good enough.
I won't spend the extra $25 on a HDMI cable, I would rather put it on audio.
Most PS3 package games do come with at least 5.1 sound, your TV speaker is just not enough.
