If you do like how I did, you will feel incredibly let down by March of the Penguins. Happy Feet being an incredible BD dic with amazing 3D pop all over the place, immaculate transfer, pristine colors and razor sharp picture really shows what BD can do, and it's beautiful. March of the Penguins on the other hand is not a very good transfer, and really lacks much of the detail and sharpness you expect from BD. Even if you didn't watch it back-to-back with a 3D animated feature, you would still feel notice a lot of grain in this film.
The irony of this is that Happy Feet is a POS movie while March of the Penguins is amazing. The only good thing about the Happy Feet is literally the PQ. The only bad thing about March of the Penguins is the PQ, but it's still better than DVD, and once you get over that it's a great film experience.
Man, this makes me look forward even more to Planet Earth in HD! I love nature "films", but they are better shot in HD than film, IMHO.
