Call of Duty Classic Coming to XBLA and PSN This Week
November 30th, 2009
The original Call of Duty is set to hit Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network this week. Major Nelson confirmed it will hit XBLA this Wednesday for 1200 Microsoft Points ($15). TVGB reports that Activision has confirmed it for PSN as well, coming on Thursday for $14.99. We weren’t sure if the marketing partnership with Microsoft might make it hit XBLA first, but that apparently isn’t the case.
If you balk at paying the fifteen bucks for an old game, keep in mind that if you picked up the Hardened or Prestige editions of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, the downloadable title is free. Just check for a download code somewhere among the remains of the box you hastily ripped open after the midnight release.
